Arrow Technologies, LLC was formed in March of 2002 as a Native American, Woman Owned 8(a), SDB, DBE & SBE Certified Company. The Arrow family collectively has over 20+ years experience in the telecomunications and business industries.
Background
Michelle Barker is the Owner/Principal and second generation Lakota Souix off the reservation. She is a registered member of the Wood Mountain Reservation in Saskatchewan and the Cheyenne River Souix Reservation in South Dakota. She began her career at the Phoenician in Scottdale, Arizona, as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of the five-star Phoenician Resort at Camelback Mountain. She moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and accepted a position with HQ Global Workplaces as Vice President of Operations. After many major mergers, Michelle was quickly promoted and relocated to Denver, Colorado. She became the President of her region and was responsible for over 60 employees, over 20 large real estate properties, covering six cities in four states, and a $20M dollar budget.
Being family oriented and having children at home, Michelle decided to move in another direction. Her husband, Jim Barker, was instrumental in the telecommunications construction of the infrastructure of the Qwest CyberCenters across the country. Therefore, telecommunications was the logical move. With her extensive managerial skills and having exceeded all revenue projections with prior companies, Michelle started Arrow Technologies, LLC in March 2002. She surrounded herself with great people - her family. Michelle's brother, Guy LeCaine, has several years experience in the telecommunications industry. Her father, Bill Lecaine, spent 40 years in the financial, banking, and marketing industries. Jim, Guy, and Bill are all involved in daily operations and success of Arrow Technologies.
